inspired by a washtub bass, but rather using a 5-gallon plastic bucket. somewhere in my research i read that a 5-gallon bucket makes a great bass. i scrounged up the parts from the basement, both of them. the "neck" is the handle from an old worn out broom and the "body" is a old 5-gallon plastic bucket. i still need to get a string. i've read that weed wacker cord works well, but i've yet to come across some, for free. i know i could always go buy some, but i only need maybe five-feet.

to keep the neck on the edge of the bucket i made a couple of cuts across the end of the broom stick.
